Carol Soares is a registered social worker/psychotherapist, educator, and equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging (EDIB) consultant with over 28 years of experience. Her holistic, person-centred, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed therapeutic approach prioritizes mind health through integrative, collaborative, and evidence-based modalities such as CBT, EFT, ACT, mindfulness, neuropsychology, narrative, compassion-focused, somatic, IFS, and the Gottman Method.
Carol understands that lives are complex, and our many experiences, encounters, and relationships influence our unique stories. She believes it is possible to access the magnificent inner resources needed to understand and befriend the parts of us that might feel confused, overwhelmed, overextended, anxious, hurt or disconnected.
Carol is a lifelong learner and wellness enthusiast. She has enhanced her understanding of what supports optimal health and healing through additional training in the areas of sleep, nutrition, fitness, and meditation. Her book, Serenity & Success…. Simplified and accompanying journal supports individuals in enhancing self-awareness and realizing their unique potential.
